Applications for the Elements: Festival of Jewellery, Silver and Gold are normally advertised in late January/early February.
2023 Fees
The cost of exhibiting this year is £960 + VAT.
There will be a limited number of up to four Early Career stands for makers who have been in business five years or less and not exhibited at Elements before. The cost of exhibiting is £600 + VAT.
We are pleased to introduce two fully-funded bursary stands for 2023— one jeweller and one silversmith. These are available to makers who have been in business five years or less and not exhibited at Elements before.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to exhibit at Elements, you must meet the following criteria:
Currently living and working in the UK
Represent yourself, sell only your own work, and not act as an agent for others.
A range of materials and styles are welcomed, but work sold at the Elements must:
Be made of precious metal, although other materials can be included
Be compliant with the 1973 Hallmarking Act
Be handmade or small-scale batch production
Be compliant with the current restrictions regarding CITES and materials that require licences or are prohibited.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Exhibitors will be chosen by a selection panel with representatives from The Scottish Goldsmiths Trust, Lyon & Turnbull and external panel members.
The panel will be looking for:
Excellent and original design
Fine craftsmanship
The ability to produce enough work for a fair of this nature
A range of styles and prices across the Fair
